Hicks Lake is a family-friendly day use area for campers and day-trippers alike. Enjoy picnics on the beach, hiking around the Hicks Lake Loop, or paddling the calm, scenic waters. Boat Rentals are available in the summer months and managed by Sea-to Sky Parks.
Hicks Lake Loop:
This family friendly hike completes a loop around Hicks Lake in Sasquatch Provincial Park. Hicks Lake can be found just 20 minutes east of the village of Harrison Hot Springs.
To get to Sasquatch from Harrison Hot Springs, follow Lillooet Ave eastbound. Lillooet Ave eventually becomes Rockwell Drive. Follow Rockwell Drive until until you see the signs directing you to Hicks Lake and Sasquatch park. Follow the well-marked signs to the Hicks Lake day use area.
The trailhead begins just to the left of the canoe rental area. This trail is very easy to navigate and is well marked with trail signs, but can be muddy in some areas (especially in the Fall and Winter months).
Half way around the lake on the south end there is a path that will take you down to the lake and a secluded little beach. This is a great spot for a picnic and a dip in the lake. Near the end of the trail you will pass through the Hicks Lake campground, if you ever feel like you are off the trail, head towards the lake side as the majority of the trail follows closely to the shore.
